Shore excursion to Cefalu' and Castelbuono leaving from Palermo

Our destination today is the city of Cefalu' and Castelbuono.
Arriving in Cefalu' you will visit, by yourself, the Piazza del Duomo which stretches out below the Cathedral with its splendid mosaics and which is surrounded by a range of splendid palazzi, for example the medieval Palazzo Maria with a Gothic portal and, to the left of the cathedral, the 17C Bishop's palace.  Corso Ruggero, the main street, is lined with a wide range of boutiques and  is built over the ancient Roman decumanus street, bisecting the town on a north-south axis. An ancient lavatory is it also working actually.
Cefalu is the second touristic town in Sicily, millions of people visit the town every year.
We will then drive you up the hills,  to Castelbuono, a charming town that was formed in the 14C around the castle built by the Ventimiglia family, a massive square construction with square towers, which has undergone many alterations over the years.
We are in the heart also of the madonie regional park. here it is possible to seat at some local restaurant to taste special meat and mushroom.
